Since he was a kid, Matt Fawcett has been writing songs. After getting a guitar on his 11th birthday he was leading music in church for youth group 3 weeks later and hasn’t stopped since.

He record 2 albums in college and played in coffee shops and on campus as a solo act.

Brandon Howey (bass, vocals) joined up with Matt after they started playing together for their church in Fort Wayne, IN. The duo has released 2 more albums with the help of other friends since.

Together their mission is to comfort the afflicted and confront the comfortable.

Both are no strangers to difficult times as they have walked together as friends through Matt’s daughter, Ivy, having open heart surgery when she was 16 days old, Brandon losing his first born daughter, Emerie, 3 days after she was born, and another child by miscarriage 7 months later.

Their desire is to help hurting people see that there is a bigger story. There is hope in our current situations as well as beyond them.

What a delight it was to have Matt do a show for our adult guests. There was great variety. Lots of fun. Serious moments Great lyrics and original material he connected specifically for our audience. The technical element made the event that much more attractive. It was encouraging to see the lyrics synced with the music. Overall it was a rewarding, christ-honoring event. Thanks Matt!

Matt Fawcett and Brandon are a delight to work with. From their easy going personalities and professionalism to their “easy to listen” sound, they are a great choice for your venue. They are comfortable in front of a large audience while still maintaining that intimate feeling you get while listening to your favorite band in a coffee shop. When it comes down to it, they are just a couple of great guys that will be a wonderful addition to your event or venue.
