Born and raised in a small farm town in Ohio, Matt has never travelled too far away from his roots. Attending Cedarville University in his home town studying audio production, allowed him to hone in his songwriting close to home and release two records before graduation. Searching (2009) and Honest Music (2011)

Influenced heavily buy artist like, Steven Curtis Chapman, Garth Brooks, Clint Black, Newsboys, Third Day, George Strait and Chris Tomlin, Matt’s music has found a home both in and outside of the church.

Playing over 100+ events all across the midwest, he is happily welcomed to play original concerts or lead worship in churches, coffee shops, personal homes and charity events. Having spent two separate years (2014, 2018) writing recording and releasing a brand new song each week in a project dubbed, 52 For The Year, Matt continues to use music and songwriting in hopes to comfort the afflicted and confront the comfortable.

Matt has two full length releases Traded It All (2016) and In The Gray (2017) as well as two shorter projects, Hymns EP (2017) and Meet The Music Acoustic EP (2019) with more music to be released soon.

What a delight it was to have Matt do a show for our adult guests. There was great variety. Lots of fun. Serious moments Great lyrics and original material he connected specifically for our audience. The technical element made the event that much more attractive. It was encouraging to see the lyrics synced with the music. Overall it was a rewarding, christ-honoring event. Thanks Matt!

Matt Fawcett and Brandon are a delight to work with. From their easy going personalities and professionalism to their “easy to listen” sound, they are a great choice for your venue. They are comfortable in front of a large audience while still maintaining that intimate feeling you get while listening to your favorite band in a coffee shop. When it comes down to it, they are just a couple of great guys that will be a wonderful addition to your event or venue.
